1. Industrial wastewater treatment
Especially for suspended particles, which are coarse, have high concentrations, carry positive charges, and have neutral or alkaline pH values in water, such as steel wastewater, electroplating plant wastewater, metallurgical wastewater, coal washing plant wastewater, etc., the treatment effect of wastewater is very good.
2. Drinking water treatment
Many water plants in our country source water from rivers with high mud and mineral content, which is relatively turbid. Although it has undergone sedimentation and filtration, it still does not meet the requirements. Flocculants need to be added to make the water quality clearer. Many water plants use inorganic flocculants, but the dosage is large, which results in an increase in the amount of sludge and is not effective. Cationic polyacrylamide is used as a flocculant, and the dosage is one-50 of that of inorganic flocculants, But the effect is several times to several tens of times that of inorganic flocculants, especially the polyacrylamide produced by our company. The residual monomer has reached food grade (less than 0.5%), close to the advanced level abroad, non-toxic, and more suitable for treating drinking water. For rivers with severe organic pollution, inorganic flocculants and anionic polyacrylamide can be used in combination to achieve better results.
3. The loss of starch and alcohol factories and the recovery of starch lees
Nowadays, many starch factories discharge wastewater with high starch content, which affects the environment and wastes resources. PAM is added to precipitate starch, which is then filtered into cakes and used as feed. A large amount of distiller's grains in alcohol factories are processed using this process. One of the largest alcohol factories in Asia in Heilongjiang uses polyacrylamide as a flocculant to recover distiller's grains, and has achieved great economic benefits.
